Big Day In with Yoga Sunday July 14
About the Day
A day of yoga practice with a morning and evening class, and sessions throughout the day including a short talk, meditation, and yoga nidra.
Heightening and harmonising awareness of sensory experience has the potential to support a form of inner balance and harmony. We can use this focus to hold our mind more steady and ground awareness in our physical experience. Sense based practices are integrated throughout all the different yoga practices, including asana, pranayama, yoga nidra and meditation, and discussions of the day.
Practices suitable for all levels of experience.
Details of the day
Please come five minutes early to each session.
Have your camera on, your body visible, and microphone on mute.
We suggest you make it a day of personal reflection.
Minimise device use, tidy up your yoga space.
Aim to make everything conducive to a day of focused practice.
Consider ways you can simplify your life.
It is helpful to manage time between sessions by:
Cooking nutritious food,
spending time in the garden,
a walk or a swim,
listening to inspirational music or talks,
reading,
or taking some notes in your diary.
It also helps to contemplate the theme of the day between sessions. These are just some suggestions to make the most of the day.

7.30-8.45am - Morning class - Prepare for the day with asana, pranayama and meditation
10-11am - Talk and meditation on the theme of the day
11.30am-12pm - Yoga Nidra
6-7.30pm - Evening class
