This week we begin the format that we will follow in coming months for this new weekly blog. During the first week of every fortnight we will introduce one of the Hatha Yoga Yama and Niyama as given in Hatha Yoga Pradipika. This will be the quality for the fortnight. The list of ten yama we will be exploring first are listed in the verse quoted below. You will find qualities amongst this list which are familiar from Raja Yoga, with some notable differences as well.
