Monday 12 - Sunday 18 January 2026
This week-long retreat is about how all aspects of yoga have the potential to work together to create a more friendly relationship with the mind. Working through body, breath, self reflection and observation in daily life, a holistic approach, we have the potential to diminish habits of rumination, manage stress, lifestyle, habits, and live a more balanced and fulfilling life.
The week will feature a full but relaxed integrated program of yoga classes, including asana, pranayama, yoga nidra, short meditations, mantra and creative activities to explore the topics of each day.
There will be short talks (15min twice a day), discussions and plenty of opportunities to soak up the ashram atmosphere. Ways of becoming more comfortable with mind, and skillfully managing the mind, will be woven into each day.
Many practices from the week will be recorded for you to utilise at home to support your practice after the retreat.
Easy to follow written resources to support your ongoing personal practice and daily life will also provided during the week.
The teachers for this retreat will be Vimalratna and Atmachaitanya, coordinators of Sharing and Learning Yoga.
The week will begin on Monday afternoon. Arrive around 2.00pm, with time to settle in, an afternoon class, an evening meal and an introductory program in the evening. The week will conclude on Sunday after lunch (around 1pm).
