Hatha Yoga for Health and Wellbeing
10 weeks fully supported online course from April 28 to July 13
(midterm break 9 - 16 June)
Vitality and Balance will run for the first time this year as an online course. A residential version of the course will likely to run at a later date. This course has a new format and content based on ancient knowledge of hatha yoga in plain language with a fresh contemporary delivery style.
Build a toolkit of yoga asana, pranayama, cleansing practices, mudra and meditation suitable for supporting the development and maintenance of a regular personal practice
An emphasis on building capacity, energy, balance and clarity
Learn to utilise yoga to manage physical and mental health and wellbeing
Hatha Yoga qualities and strategies for managing one’s life, including explorations of attitudinal topics from Hatha Yoga taken from classic Hatha Yoga texts
Multiple practical yoga classes and two support sessions are available each week
Session attendance time options (via zoom) spread throughout the week, supplemented by quality video recordings and a learning resources website
Attend a minimum of one practical yoga class a week. No pressure to attend all sessions, though benefits will come from greater engagement
A practical non academic (no assessments) approach
A collaborative environment that fosters sharing and learning together
This course, new this year, is different from any previous Hatha Yoga course you may have done with us or others. Learn to practice more consistently, in a way that is more real for a busy life, from a place that starts where you are. Practical and personal.
Please contact us via the form below if you have any questions. We'd love to discuss this wonderful course more.
“This course was a revelation for me. The philosophy is so profound, accessible and applicable especially in the world we live in now! It’s teaching me to be open to see things differently and to understand myself better.”
“The balance of classes through the week allows us to sustain momentum in our practices. The class structure has enabled me to create more momentum and stability in my Sadhana.”
Note: You only need to come to at least one practical class and one discussion session per week. Welcome to join as many sessions as your life allows. Recordings are available for most sessions, except discussions for participants' privacy.
